I · What it does
The settings you bought the mouse for, without the suite.
Mighty reads what your mouse reports and only offers what it can actually do. Battery is free. Changing the hardware is Pro.
DPI on the sensor
ProSet the resolution the mouse itself tracks at, on a logarithmic slider. It is not a pointer-speed multiplier.
Polling rate
ProChoose from the report rates your mouse says it supports. Nothing is offered that the hardware cannot do.
Button mapping
ProSend remappable buttons to Mission Control, a keyboard shortcut, a URL, a sequence, or a gesture.
Profiles
ProSave DPI, polling rate, and button mappings together, per device, and tie a profile to an app.
Receiver pairing
ProPair and unpair devices on your Logitech receiver without installing anything else.
II · How it works
Most mouse utilities change what macOS does with your clicks. Mighty also changes the mouse.
It speaks HID++, the protocol Logitech mice understand, through the receiver you already use. So DPI and report rate change on the hardware, not in a software layer on top.

III · Small by design
Built like a Mac utility should be.
- One app, one process
- Mighty is a single signed app. No daemon, helper, driver, or system extension, and no updater running in the background.
- Out of your input path
- No event tap, so the app never intercepts your clicks or scrolls. Many remaps run on the mouse itself.
- Native to the Mac
- Written in Swift with SwiftUI and AppKit. It lives in the menu bar, with a full window when you want one.
- Private by default
- Anonymous analytics and crash reports stay off until you switch them on. The website sets no cookies of its own.
- Leaves your mouse as it found it
- Mighty never writes firmware. If a polling-rate change fails, the previous mode is restored.
- Updates on your terms
- Upgrade with Homebrew or the download page. The app tells you when a new version exists and never installs one on its own.

Is Mighty affiliated with Logitech?
No. Mighty is independent software. Logitech names are used only to describe which devices it works with.
Does it work over Bluetooth?
Not yet. A Bluetooth-paired mouse is detected and listed, but its controls are only reachable through a Logitech receiver today.
Can I check my mouse works before paying?
Yes. The free tier reads battery, DPI, and polling rate, which confirms the app can talk to your mouse. Pro purchases also come with a 30-day refund.
Does it change anything on my mouse permanently?
It does not write firmware or edit your stored onboard profiles. Changing the polling rate switches the mouse to host mode and restores the previous mode if the write fails.
